MIS-Electrodes

Monopolar Lapo-Electrodes
Exchangeable Tips

Monopolar High Frequency Electrodes are commonly used in Minimally Invasive Surgery (MIS) for preparation, coagulation and cutting of tissue. In these applications significant mechanical and thermal strain can cause increased wear and tear of
such electrodes when designed the
conventional way.

Bissinger has now introduced a new
concept to tackle the problem of
increased wear and tear caused by
thermal strain: A variety of exchangeable electrode tip inserts can be easily used in the same robust and durable handle. When these tips are worn out, they can cost effectively be replaced by new ones.
